Canon introduces T3i 1080p HD-DSLR

Canon has announced a new, slightly updated 1080p Rebel series camera. The Rebel T3i directly replaces the T2i. For video purposes the major feature difference is the addition of a swivel screen like the one on the 60D. It features the same 18mp APS-C sensor, 90% the size of Super35mm film. AJA says Ki-ProMini begging to ship very soon
AJA has announced that they are (finally) starting to ship their Ki-ProMini portable field ProRes recorder. This device will allow you to capture 4:2:2 I-frame video at 220mbps on to convenient Compact Flash memory cards. It's highly recommended with some of today's digital cinema cameras such as the Sony F3. We haven't gotten our Ki-ProMinis in yet but we're taking orders now at $1,985.
